ZhuZhu Pets – Three ZhuZhu Pets Hamsters – Hamsters May Vary

Kids everywhere want these little hampsters, but the individuals who are buying up all the Zhu Zhu pets and selling them for outrageous prices are dispicable. They are grinches who are ruining Christmas for lots of kids. It is morally wrong and reprehensible. They’re nothing but money grubbing modern day pirates stealing the joy of Christmas from children. Every year it gets worse and worse. The only way it will stop is if people stop buying products from these individuals and companies. When there is no money in it they will stop doing it and then the real free market of supply and demand will once again rein supreme.

These pets are just too cute. We have been lucky enough to get two from Walmart along with the car. This set sells for a little over [...] if you can get one in stock. But all the companies have bought them out every where. They are selling them way overpriced. I just can’t see why they do it. This toy is priced so a child can spend their allowance to purchase them and enjoy them. Instead, the price is jacked up three and four times what the actual price is. I think it is sad that companies would do this to children knowing they are acting like a greedy Grinch!! Is one thing to try to make a resale profit, but to sell them at these prices is ludicrous! Like I said its just like taking candy from a baby!

My 3 and 5 yr olds love Mr. squiggles! They make cute hamster noises with the unexpected “fun” noises that always provide a giggle!
The items are very hard to find in our area, so I don’t mind paying the markup prices. It is supply and demand IMO. [...]. I am tired of being on hold with the “big retailers” for more than 10 or 15 minutes only to have the workers not look for the item or just to laugh at you when you ask about these toys. Many of our local stores havent received any in stock for weeks now and don’t expect to get them anytime soon.
All in all, my girls love ‘em! Cute hamster fun w/o the mess of real ones!

We haven’t had any of the trouble with the hamsters and the kids really love them. I had to get them off Amazon as I couldn’t find them ANYWHERE!! Yes I had to pay a little more for them but with the price of gas and the irritation of dealing with traffic in the city it was worth it not to have to go from store to store. And forget calling the stores ahead. What a joke! Have you ever tried to call Walmart and stay on hold forever….. just for them to not have a clue what you are talking about IF they ever answer at all??? Yeah right. I’ll just pay the extra and get it delivered right to me and not have to get the kids out.
So far so good on the toy. My 3 and 7 yo have had them about 3 days and still are enamored with them. Good thing, cuz they won’t be getting the real deal!

My 6 year old daughter LOVES this toy. If anyone has owned a hamster or household with pets in them with small children, they realize the benefits of this toy immediately–truly no mess or smell.
Yes, they get stuck and move in a straight line.–so do hamsters. What they don’t do is crap on the floor and stink up the whole house…or escape at night or make noise throughout the night.
They’re cute and wonderful fun for the 4-10 year old girl crowd and serve that purpose. I prefer it over the furby’s and robosapiens of the past years personally.
For those being ‘fleeced’ for these toys, don’t let that cloud your judgement for the toy. You’re paying for the demand, not the $8 toy. For $8, it more than fulfills its purpose than many of those $40 GI Joe packages do for the boys.
Potential Buyers. Be a smart, rpoductive hamster! ….go out smart/out work the other sellers and get in line at Target at 800am and ToysRUs 1000am. Or else, it’s the convenience of Amazon.
