  2. Purchased as a gift for my daughter’s twin girls who will play with it this summer when they will be 18 months old….and when it’s warm!

My daughter is familiar with this product and specifically requested it for GrandSanta Claus to bring last Christmas.

  4. we dumped water that had been sitting in the table for 1 week and it was neon green!!! (The table was in our basement so there was no chance of anything else getting into it) If you have a child who likes to drink water from the tub, etc, I would watch him/her very carefully with this table. We only use it as a sand table and it seems to be working fine.

  5. We gave this to our grandson on his 3rd birthday. All 6 kids, ranging in age from 14-3 gathered around and played. The birthday boy LOVED it and his brother 6 and cousin 7 played for hours. It’s very sturdy, easy to put together with a power drill and the lid attaches firmly. It’s a great gift for boys & girls. I was very pleased.

  6. I just disassembled this and it is going back to the store where I bought it. I ordered this because I wanted a sand and water table with an umbrella and liked that it had tracks for running cars around on. The big thing for me was the umbrella though, since we are very fair skinned. I read on another website the umbrella provided 30spf. I find that hard to believe. It was pretty big but quite thin and still allowed a lot of sun light through and of course only was effective if the table was at just the right angle to the sun (eg, the sun was directly overhead). I anticipate my son playing at times other than noon, so I don’t see the point of keeping this table and getting one without an umbrella. I will be getting the sand and water transportation station as it is a little smaller (for my 22 month old) and my plan was for this to go out on our balcony anyway.

On a side note, one of the legs leaked. I did read about this issue, and I’m sure I could’ve found a way to remedy it but combined with the umbrella issue it’s just not worth keeping for me. I think he’ll like the bells and whistles on the transportation station table better, although I’m certainly not looking forward to what eventually becomes 8 layers of sunscreen throughout the day for us! This just wasn’t for us but I could see maybe if we had a big yard and I wasn’t so concerned about the sun. I really see no point in the umbrella though – it’s just for show really.
